The receptionist’s job is to help the patients by answering their enquiries, taking note of repeat prescriptions and making arrangements to see the doctors. They may ask for brief details of illness to enable the doctors to best help the patients. All such details are treated with the strictest confidence. On arrival for an appointment, please check in with the receptionist.
The health visitor is specially trained to offer advice on child care and development. Together with the doctor she runs the Baby Clinic on a Thursday morning from 11:45 – 13:00. At the baby clinic immunisations are given and babies and children screened for any problems. All pre-school children and babies registered with the practice will be invited to attend.
Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN)
The nurses are available to help patients with mental health problems.
The podiatry service can be accessed by referral by your GP.
